III - Insights Images Ideas

The three I's, which mean the most to me, found anywhere, about anything...oh and a journey
of self exploration along the way

soulhunting:

Can’t lose what you never had, can’t keep whats not yours, and can’t hold on to something that does not want to stay.

Doors and Gateways.

Written April 2010, whilst visiting the temples in Cambodia
Found this whilst cleaning my room, in my hand-made sketch book.

Enjoy. x

‘A door is both an entrance and a weapon.
It allows you to visit & experience but can also stop you in your tracks.
You may enter another world or another self.
They could be in the form of gateways, passages, borders.
Made from bricks & water, wood or nothing.
Both physical or invisible in your heart & mind or in a home or hut.
Appreciation and anticipation fills the soul for what lies ahead,
not being able to control the outcome.
Open the door to unlock hidden treasure within one self.
Break all locks that limits opportunities…’

Stunning double exposure photographs by Florian Imgrund . I love black and white photography and developing in the dark room. Such a patient and surreal situation which always makes me appreciate time and care.

A beautiful and breathtaking piece by Cartier. An advert, I know, but you can forget that for those 3.31 minutes. The tree made from jewels and animals is just wow.

INSIGHT.
Having a metaphor or an image to represent each quote makes it all the more real. I need to hang this tyre up on my wall.
